As our Litigation Legal Fellow, Gayane supports impact litigation to protect human rights and hold human rights abusers accountable.
As a student-attorney at the Harvard Immigration and Refugee Clinic, Gayane assisted clients with applications for asylum, humanitarian parole, stay of removal, and parole-in-place. As a student-attorney at the Harvard International Human Rights Clinic, she contributed to a publication advocating for states to adopt robust interpretations of the political declaration on explosive weapons in populated areas. During law school, Gayane spent summers at the Pennsylvania Immigration Resource Center and Paul, Weiss, Rifkind, Wharton & Garrison.
Gayane earned her Juris Doctor from Harvard Law School, where she was a recipient of the Dolores Zohrab Liebmann Fellowship and an articles editor for the Harvard Human Rights Journal. She graduated cum laude from the University of Maryland, College Park with dual bachelor’s degrees in economics and finance.
