Recommendations for Final Asylum Processing Rule

Dear Attorney General Garland and Secretary Mayorkas:

The undersigned immigrants’ rights and legal services organizations are dedicated to the fair, orderly, and humane processing of those seeking asylum in the United States, including individuals and families whose asylum claims are adjudicated under the March 2022 Interim Final Rule, Procedures for Credible Fear Screening and Consideration of Asylum, Withholding of Removal, and CAT Protection Claims by Asylum Officers (“Interim Final Rule”).
