Human Rights First Testimony Regarding the U.S. Refugee Admissions Program FY 2013

Human Rights First’s Duncan Breen testified before the U.S. State Department on how PRM can help improve the protection of refugees who face serious protection risks in their country of asylum through the development of a formal expedited resettlement system within the U.S. Refugee Admissions Program. Breen put a special focus on protecting LGBTI refugees and offer concrete recommendations for steps PRM can take to address gaps in the protection of this highly vulnerable population.
