In commemoration of Mental Health Awareness Month, please join Human Rights First Project: Afghan Legal Assistance (PALA), Evacuate Our Allies, and Afghan-American Foundation on May 23rd from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM in a presentation for legal practitioners and advocates on mental health and Afghan arrivals.

Senior Refugee Interventionist, Freshta Taeb, will cover a range of topics including culturally sensitive trauma–informed care, common mental health challenges among Afghan arrivals, and how to deal with secondary trauma.

The presentation will be followed by a Q&A session.
