Project: Afghan Legal Assistance (PALA) coordinates U.S. legal organizations, law firms, resettlement agencies, and other stakeholders to provide legal representation to Afghan refugees who have arrived in the United States.
PALA supports law firms and non-profit legal organizations interested in pro bono representation of Afghan refugees and asylum seekers. We also encourage administrative action by the United States Government for these refugees.
Please join our network of over 1100 pro bono attorneys and 550 Dari and Pashto volunteer interpreters to provide legal assistance to at-risk Afghans. You can also volunteer with The Welcome Legal Alliance to help Afghan allies around the country access essential legal support.
