The Jack Bauer Contagion

The fictional “24” character Jack Bauer has not only been heralded a hero of counterterrorism within the world of TV, but he has also been the basis for U.S. interrogation policy. Diane Beaver, John Yoo, Michael Chertoff and Antonin Scalia have all looked to Bauer for advice. Yet, he’s fictional.
