Private Screening: ‘God Loves Uganda’

The Council for Global Equality, Gays and Lesbians in Foreign Affairs Agencies, Global Justice Institute, Human Rights First and the Robert F. Kennedy Center for Justice and Human Rights invite you to a special panel discussion and private screening of the new documentary film God Loves Uganda.

The film explores the role of the American Evangelical movement in Uganda by following evangelical leaders in America and Uganda along with politicians and missionaries as they attempt the radical task of eliminating “sexual sin” and converting Ugandans to fundamentalist Christianity. There will be a panel discussion with Santiago A. Canton, Reverend Kapya Kaoma and Bishop Gene Robinson immediately following the screening.
