Former Gitmo Detainee Faces Trial in NYC

The trial is in a U.S. federal court in lower Manhattan. Ahmed Ghailani, an alleged al Qaeda terrorist, is accused of bombing two U.S. embassies in East Africa. He is the only Guantánamo detainee to be transferred to the United States so far. Human Rights First is monitoring the trial inside and outside the courtroom.
