Honoree Spotlight:
The 2024 Baldwin Medal is awarded to Dang Dinh Bach, an environmental lawyer and human rights defender who remains imprisoned in Vietnam for his advocacy. Bach is recognized for his fearless legal work and unwavering commitment to justice despite persecution.
Speakers:
- Rep. Jamie Raskin, Member of Congress and lead advocate for Mr. Bach under the Tom Lantos Commission’s Defending Freedoms Project
- Rep. Young Kim, Member of Congress and Chair of the House Foreign Affairs Subcommittee on East Asia and the Pacific;
